On this page

AI engines tailor answers to where the user is and who they say they are. Markets and personas let you measure that.

Markets

A market is a two-letter country code (US, GB, DE, TR…). Answers for a prompt are collected as if the user were in that country. Every project has a default market; any prompt can use a different one.

Personas

A persona is a short description of the buyer, such as a CFO at a 50-person company or a freelance designer in Berlin. It's added to the prompt as context:

For context, I'm a CFO at a 50-person company. What's the best invoicing software?

Setting them up

On the Prompts page:

  • Add one — set a market and/or persona for a single prompt.
  • Other markets & personas — copy every active prompt to a new market, a persona, or both in one step. Prompts already tracked for that combination are skipped.

In the prompts table, market and persona show as tags next to each prompt.

Reading the results

  • Overview → Markets & personas shows visibility per market and per persona once you track more than one.
  • Answers can be filtered by market and persona — click a row in the overview panel to jump there.
  • The API and MCP server return the same split.

Start with your two or three most important markets and one or two personas, then expand where the gaps are largest.

Questions

Do copies count toward my prompt limit?

Yes. Each prompt in each market or persona is a separate active prompt.

Does the persona change the answer?

Often, yes. Engines tailor recommendations to what the user says about themselves, which is why the same question can return different brands for a freelancer and a CFO.
